Vaccuum Balls Needed?

I am redoing some things on my Bronco. The Previous owner had done the Mountaineer 5.0 Swap and he kept the EGR system. I have since added headers and am in the process of getting rid of any uneeded leftovers. I use a Vintage air AC and heat system. The only vacuum I should need will be for brake booster and PCV. I think?

So I should be able to remove the Balls/ Reservoir, right?

Couple of more details, may or may not matter. I am replacing the upper and lower intake with fresh Tubular intake.

If you don't have the added vacuum accessories, you should not need the ball/reservoir any longer.
The only scenario I can think of off hand where it might be helpful is if you have a big cam and the engine vacuum is low.
Other than that, I'd say get rid of it.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who chuckled when I read the title...

(btw, I agree with Paul, however anything I remove always gets stored in the garage for future use, if needed.)

I wish my vacuum had more balls...what are we talking about?

I think it's technically referred to as an "accumulator", but I like balls way better ;D

I felt it wouldn't be much of a Bronco without balls ;D

You'll need vacuum for the fuel pressure regulator.

Mark

ahh yes, I was thinking I forgot one :)

I will probably forget again before I get back under the hood . Trying to get my wiring harness cleaned up.
