VIN Decoder question

I have two first gen Broncos (wagons body's) and I'm having trouble decoding both vin's.j
1) The sequential number on the 69 seems to be a lot higher (F76012) than the final production figures recorded (F63999)? Thoughts?

2) The 74 model code shows as U153, I only see U152 on the Broncohio site. Anyone have an idea what this code means? I know this one was originally bought by either a local university or perhaps the government.

Thanks

On the 69' are you sure the F is not an E?

153 is 4450gvw, 150 is 4300gvw, 151 is 4500gvw and 152 is 4900gvw
