Can you get replacement vin stamps? I just realized tonight I didn't have one by the instrument panel where I think it should be? Any information would be helpful.
They don't make replacement vin plates but, there should be a sticker on the inside of the drivers door. If that one is gone there are two stamped into the frame of the bronco.
They are hard to see but one is just behind the shock tower on the passenger side of the frame. It is stamped on the top of the frame. You may have to sand it to see it. Rust usually hides it well. Mine had a second "secret" one stamped on the top frame rail just about under the passenger seat. You would need a mirror to see it. If I remember correctly the number has a star stamped on each end of it to help prevent fraud.
??? ??? ??? You didnt give a year but on the 66'67 it is on the kick pannel by the e/brake and then they put it in the glove box door hope this helps. : : : Bill 8) :
