Well I started my beast today for the first time since 2006. It's been a long journey but it's finally coming to fruition.
I was building my motor for Explorer EFI, but for a lot of the reasons discussed here: https://classicbroncos.com/forums/t...t-and-greatest-efi.321132/page-2#post-3508282
I altered course and ordered Edelbrock proflo 4 last January.
The mechanical, fuel and electrical portions of the install were straightforward and went very well. Everything fit perfectly, and the instructions were easy to understand.
When it finally came time to fire it up the first time, I turned the key and there were a few seeps on the high pressure side of the fuel system I needed to take care of.
After that, I turned the key and, what do you know, it started and actually ran pretty well before I even started setting the timing or following the wizard on the app! Once the timing was set to the 12° BTC that Edelbrock asked for, and the wizard on the app completed, it ran amazing!
Even though I liked the system from the beginning, I wanted to withhold judgment until I heard it run. Now I can safely say that I'm very pleased with my decision and would recommend this system to anybody considering EFI.

THX,
JB

I love my Pro Flo on my 460. Runs like a Swiss clock. Highly dependable from day one. I would recommend it to anyone who asked. Plus it’s MPFI so it’s already a better design than the TBI setups it competes with.

I will join in and say i love my pf4 on my 351w also! Additionally i upgraded to dakota digital speedo and they have a BIM connector that is plug and play to read the pro flo 4 ECU to pull data from it! Super easy and accurate

I have it too. I like it, but I get some gurgling/backfiring as I am coming off speed before downshifting. Need to try to dial it in a bit, I guess.
