76' Ranger, unknown mechanical condition. Supposedly in the movie Forrest Gump but no documentation to prove, and I could find nothing on the web stating that it had. Hadn't been driven in a few years, out in the middle of nowhere northwestern Oklahoma. Probably 25 of us there to bid on it, I think there were three bidders on the phone. Sold for $12500. I was in till close to the end, but just wasn't feeling it after $11k, most people looked shocked when it went over $5k lol. Local couple bought and was going to clean it up, replace the front passenger panel and drive it. They were bronco folks too and already three in the garage.

Good luck to the buyer doing a color match on the fender. I think the price reasonable,
but just.

What’s the story with the turquoise one parked next to it?

74' Scout, it was really rough. $3500. Supposedly in the movie " The In Crowd". Couldn't find anything to confirm that claim either.

Looks like it'll clean up nice. But man, it's going to take a lot of work to get it there!
I hate it when I see a hard top that fits that poorly on some edges.

I think you bailed at just the right time.

Whoever bought it has probably already watched Forrest Gump three times tonight....

I can hear the conversation:
Her- “I didn’t see it did you?”
Him- “Naw, but they said it was in there...”

My cousin’s husband (draw it out, family kudzu; it’s AL) was the fat guy eating chocolate on park bench. Known as “box of chocolates” scene. I was shocked at his residuals from that one line. And I don’t remember Bronco either.

Love that movie .... I never seen a bronco in it !

if some does see it I like to know !!

fav quote ......

“That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run.
So I ran to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I’d run to the end of town.
And when I got there, I thought maybe I’d just run across Greenbow County.
And I figured, since I run this far, maybe I’d just run across the great state of Alabama.
And that’s what I did. I ran clear across Alabama. For no particular reason I just kept on going.
I ran clear to the ocean. And when I got there, I figured, since I’d gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going.
When I got to another ocean, I figured, since I’d gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on going.”

kinda my life !!!!!

Cant tell about the floors and other rust prone areas but it appears to be a real Ranger, uncut with only one bad fender and a grill.... If it wasn't rusty then I think they got it fairly cheap in today's world.

It has rust in engine bay in the corners like usual and a small amount under the passenger floor.
