I'm in research mode for a new engine this winter. Currently trying to decide between a crate engine or getting one built locally. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good machine shop between Tacoma and Portland, preferably in the Olympia area?

While I can't recommend a machine shop near you, if Portland works, call Tony Price at The Tune Up and Carburetor Shop in Tigard, OR. (West of Port.) for recommendations. He rebuilt my last one perfectly, is a true fan and races at Woodburn Drag Strip. You could PM Miikee73 here to ask how it's holding up.

Also, any info you, or others near you could provide on my current red '76 would be great if they recognize it. It spent the first part of it's life in Shelton, WA.

Thanks!
Kevin
