My stock antenna is on the driver side on my 1973 and I can't recall ever seeing a stock antenna on the passenger side. I think it is something the PO did...maybe a CB antenna?

Did the early years have the antenna on the passenger side??

Edit: I just looked up the brochure for a 1967 Bronco and it shows the antenna on the drivers side.

My stock antenna is on the passenger side of my 77, my 76 was drivers side.
I always wondered about that. Maybe dealer installed the fancy am factory radio and put it on the wrong side. Guess my bronco is worth 10 grand more for being special. Haaa

WOW....I hope someone can chime in who knows why some are on the drivers side and some on the passenger side. Sorry Nyles!

After looking at where your holes are located I think the PO did that, my antenna is on the passenger side but farther up and more on top of the fender, exactly where it would be on the drivers side. Mine looks factory done.

Factory location is on drivers fender, higher up than the holes in that fender on post #1.

Sometimes people who added radio kits put them on the passenger fender, but the original kit instructions show where to put it on the on the drivers side fender.

I have original instructions from 66, 67 and 69 and all show it there. There is also a couple dimples on the driver side kick panel for where you drill the holes to mount the antenna support bracket and run the wire through.

Judging by how rough that hole looks, it ain't stock. No telling what someone hacked that hole in for.
