Looking at old school bias ply. What size is 7/15 equal to in metric? Same as 235/85???? Want that tall skinny look, no lift, uncut.

Loc.
Eugene, OR
Overall Diameter: 29.50"
Cross Section: 5.7"
Rec. Rim Width: 5" - 7"

this is the spec on their 7.00-15 military tire.

235/85 would be 30.72" tall and 9.25" wide, a 215/85 would be 29.3" tall and 8.46" wide. both oddball sizes for 15" rim.

Actually, my '77 came with G78-15s, which translate to a 215/75R15.

235/75R15 is equal to an L78-15, which was optional for most of the later years.
