I'm trying to figure what 33" tires on Mickey Thompson Classic II's will look like with a 2" suspension lift. Right now I have some Firestone Wilderness A/T, P235's that I'm guessing are somewhere around 30" or so???? Help a fella out. :)

they are closer to being 28 or 29 inches depending on how much air you have in them . ;)

Example: 235/75-R15

Tire is 235 mm wide
75 is aspect ratio. Simply put, 75% of the width is the sidewall height.
so .75 x 235 = 176.25
that is one sidewall section though. so multiply that times 2. 176.25 x 2 =352.5
convert to inches. 352.5/25.4 = 13.88
next add in your wheel diameter. 13.88 + 15.00 = 28.88
width is the same conversion. 235/25.4 = 9.25
so, this tire is 9 1/4 X 29 inches more or less.
don't forget, the reccomended rim width is a factor too. That 235 tire probably does not have 9 1/4 inches of tread, but on the correct rim, the tire does measure 9 1/4 sidewall to sidewall. Hope that helps.
