What's the most expensive EB you've seen bought or sold?

I was just on the Bronco Graveyard classified site and saw a 66 Bronco advertised for $50,000. It appeared to be a nice 08/1965 production model but $50K?? It got me to wondering, what's the most expensive Bronco anyone's either bought, sold or seen get sold (I don't count ebay unless it could be verified). MIne only cost $3000 so it won't qualify:)

I don't know how much the customer paid for it, but supposedly the "Bronco-Nator" on this site a while back had $80K put into it.

I bought one for $4000, then had to resell it because of the salvage title. Sold it for $2000. Took a huge loss!! Probably my biggest dissapointment.

Bought another one for $1500. Did some minor restoration (tires, shocks, hood) and sold it for $3500. Made some profit on this one. ;D

Had a 78, bought it for $1500 and drove it around for a couple of years. Then sold it for $1500.

About right amount of money on a 1974 with 4774 miles on it before the recession, now probably too much. I guess it stays in storage until the next boom times.

I have seen a few for around $45,000. But I am sure that there have been ones sold for more. I have never paid more than $3,000 and that price was actually for two. Of course you get what you pay for!

didn't bronconator claim to have 80k just in parts? It was very nice - but seems like somebody with more dollars than sense.

Nick's TriX "Boca" truck was up there... but well worth the $$ put into it... craftsmanship was exquisite! Not like anything isn't... coming from Nick's shop... :)

Yeah, $80K in parts alone, if I remember correctly.

I dont see how you could put 80K into a bronco? Not including labor? I love broncos and wish I had mountains of money to spend on them but I would have a hard time putting 80K in parts into one. Maybe if you are going to build a trophy truck for baja!

I know that the Ford family bought the EB that Van Tumblin (Modman) built for the 40th celebration. It was super nice and was done RIGHT! Don't know how much, but I'm sure he didn't give it away.
