To those that have used these 1" thick wheel adaptors,
Did you need to cut down the existing wheel stud?

I have a set and will need to cut/grind down the stock studs about 1/2"

I suppose that is why I had so much trouble finding 1" spacers/adapters to begin with...

Put them on and only cut down the ones that need to be cut down.. I didn't have to cut mine down but I am running 1.5" spacers.

I got 1.5" and 2" spacers to play with the backspacing with different wheel and tire sets. 15" wheels will hit my TROs. deep offset 17" will have contact (radius arm bolt to tire) at full turn.
I need to keep tire thread under flare to pass our local vehicle safety inspection.
Looks like 1" thick spacers will work with the 15" slotted mag wheels that I have. I have the 1.5" spacers on now but front tires sticks out a little too much (legally).

I need the 1" because my wheel center caps stick out past the axle lock-out by 1/2" with 1.5" spacers and OJ bronco wheels.

Yes, you will need to cut down your wheel studs. Honestly, it wasn't that bad - even better after a couple of brews.:D
