Wheel and tire offset

Hello,

I'm looking for a little advise. I've got a 3.5 lift from Tom's installed on my 1974 Bronco. I am now looking for wheels and tires. I am thinking of going with 17x9 -12mm offset. Then a set of BF LT285/70R17. Any thoughts on look and fit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Bobbie. An important aspect here would be whether or not your fenders are cut.
Do you have cut and flared fenders front and rear?

thats a tall lift for running ~32.7" tires.

I'm running 17x9 offset -12 with 35" tires.

And yet with uncut front fenders, wouldn’t a 285 on a 9 inch wide wheel still potentially rub on some front sheet metal?
Or is that within the safety zone with that much lift?

I run 285/75 on 17x9 Indy slot
Mags with 3.5ish back spacing (think WH website says 3.5 seen others that said 3.75) 2.5 WH front and rear springs. Cut front and rear fenders with old bushwhacker flares. Rubbed some minor sheet metal on front at full lock had to cut about 1 inch corner off that PO missed when doing flares. Fit is great tires are right to edge of flares maybe 1/2 inch past. Wheel opening is full but everyone likes the look. I think smaller would not have had the look I wanted. Handles great too.

Thank you so much for the reply. This is very helpful. Would it be any trouble for you to send a couple of pictures to me? I'd really like to see pictures from the side and front of the bronco. Again don't want to trouble you but it would be really helpful as I make this final decision.

These are 33s and a 3 1/2” lift. Not sure if these are what you’re looking for. Same truck in stages of construction/destruction. I’m 5’ 10”
To give you a reference point.
