Have any of you used wheel spacers?
As much as I don't want to, I might. I'm having a hard time finding a wheel that I love with the right offset. Any feed back will be appreciated. Thanks

I run 1.5" aluminum spacers, got them from someone on Pirate who sells a lot of them. I got a set of wheels as a birthday or xmas gift one year and their backspace wasn't exactly what I wanted so the spacers were my compromise. I will be removing them when I change wheels one day. To me its an additional part that some say is failure prone. I retorque the lugs that bolt them to the spindles frequently though I've never found them to be loose. Paranoia maybe.

I run a 1/4" wheel spacer to clear my one ton tie rod set up, not much choice with 15" rims. It was either that or find a rim with a 3" bs. I've run the thicker spacers as well- the ones that Wild Horses sells, never had any problem with them. I like the thinner ones better because I can check them easily.

I ran 2" aluminum spacers on a full size Bronco for awhile with no problems.

Wheel spacers might be your only choice with some wheels. I had to use 1.5" spacers because all the 16 & 17 inch wheels I found had too much backspacing and hit the radius arms way too easily. Also, mine is a '77 with the wider steering knuckles and the wheels were just too close.
