Will a 15x7 wheel with a 3' backspacing fit on 1977 Bronco, along with 31x10.5 tires? Uncut for now

I think the question is, "Will it clear the rear fenders without cutting?" Obviously the wheel itself will not be an issue.

With 3" of BS, but unknown offset, you can't be exactly certain without a dry fit. The stockers would have had an offset of -1 but a "higher" backspacing. This means that the wheel would be closer to the frame with the stock wheels.

In other words, all things being equal, the same wheel will be 1" closer to the frame with a 4" BS than with a 3"BS.

Hope that helps...

These are stock 1975 cj5 heep wheels 15x7 with 30x 950-15 tires and the outside of the tire would rub off road only going thru a dig at a angle on Black were good
