Where does this tag belong?

I was rummaging through the glove box of my 71 sport and found this tag in there. The numbers match my vin tag on the glove box where does it belong? Thanks!

Thanks! It has adhesive residue on the back, was it originally glued to the glove box liner?

No, it was on a card given to the original purchaser.

Might have been glued to the original owners manual, a separate card, or some other bit of paper.
