on 66's it's on the driver's side kick panel (toward the dash and down by the door). On 67-77 in should be in the glove box door. it's also on the passenger side frame but could be difficult to find if you don't know exactly where to look.

On my 67 frame the Vin was stamped in two places on the top of the frame rail. One directly across from the front of the transmission tunnel cover and another directly across from the transfer case. Of course, I had the tub off when I found these.

speaking of vins. I was wondering if anyone in WA new how difficult it would be to do a salvage title? I have a door and no title. Is it possible? Like to retitle my 77 as a 74...
