ZookBronc,

made the bumper in the garage from 1.5 inch pipe. Boxed in the frame ends the tapped for 8 bolts and also mounts to the frame underneath. Here is another view of it.

Here are the dashes of my trail rig and my 66 restomod driver.

Sorry for the snow flakes in the first pic - it's snowing like crazy today!

I tried to keep the 66 dash as clean as possible and I welded in a panel to get rid of the PO's radio hack job. It now looks like a radio-delete dash. Not sure what was originally.

Here's a few of the dash I did on Mtfit's build. I was going for a functional but uncluttered look. I eliminated the ashtray and fabbed a "junk drawer" modeled after the one in my Superduty. It's great for a cell phone so I also installed a 12V recepticle on the angled dash surface under the drawer.

The switched and stock controls are labled with various illuminating legends that were either standards or custom made for us though Ben at HBS. looks very nice when lit up. All gauge and switch lights are LED as is the light in the Tuffy glovebox that I also got from Ben.

I have a dash in pretty good condition that I plan to fill in the holes from teh radio and ash tray and get it chrome powder coated. I am going to maybe get some headlight rings powder coated first to see how the stuff really looks.

You might want to check out driven auto parts here in Phoenix. Randy has some nice aluminum overlays that I used for mine. I think it turned out pretty well. I filled it with autometer gauges and a tuffy glove box. I need to pay to become a contributor so I can post pics.

Here's some pics. of my dash I just finished: I went with a carbon fiber look on the dash with ultra lite gauges, billet dash knobs, front 4x6 speakers.

Thanks Nick,

The column is out of a '84 Trans Am: tilt, wipers, high beams and ignition all on the column helps clean up the dash. The steering wheel was black before fading so I'm thinking of switching to an polished aluminum wheel. I also have a set of your windsheild knobs but they are anodized blue and thinking about trading to a set of clear aluminum.

Hey guys these are awesome pics. I am curious how many are available for sale. I know there are a lot of home builds. Where can I find some good dashes for sale. Or will someone fab one for me?
