I am looking for the vender that sells the container that is put in place of the fresh air box. It has the seal built into it and is used as storage place for oil bottles or othe stuff like that. I have seen it but cant find it. Also I am looking for the aluminum clamps that hold the brake / gas lines to the frame? Any help here? I think B.C. sells them but I can't find them
Thanks

I got mine from WH, it is black(which is good for me) and has a lid. I'm pretty sure all of them have lids just might now show it in the picture. It does not have a seal, but I have yet to find a single drop of water in the box. I've had it in for about four or five months and love it. Great place to hold a quart of oil and 12 open/box end wrenches that are rolled in a pouch. Also, if you ever plan on having a lock on your hood it now just bcame a lock box and you could put GPS units, keys, whatever in there. Best thing is that since it is black people don't even know it is there(really hard to see with the hood down) Hope this helped ya out Roger, just personal preference here too, but mine didn't come with hardware so I made sure to use stainless sheetmetal screws(the ones with the built on washer are nice).

the stroage box is a great little bit. that's a todd z design that protofab makes.
you do need to plug the hole in the firewall that the fresh air vent drains through.
i found i needed to drop the height of the lip a bit to lower it from the bottom of the hood on the one i installed. it's a great water tight storage box that truely has it's purpose..

Roger,
You could use these like I did. It is a 1/8 deep style restaurant/hotel pan (Kitchen terms). It is the ones that are used in the cooking industry (I was a chef before) they are stainless steel. You could find them used at your local swap meets or at a kitchen supply vendor.
It fits perfect in the vent hole. Add some neoprene strips to seal and you're done. You also can get a cover for it, I don't use one but it does collect water when it rains. I just need to remember to pop the hood and pour it out when it does........ Another one of my mad ideas.......%)

I sale both, the storage box is made by protofab and we make the line clamps.
The lines can be found by going to the lower left corner of my home page. There you will find the quick find box. Type fuel line clamps in the box and they will come up.

You guys had me excited about the air vent storage product. Tried to find it on the BC Broncos website, but their search appeared to be broken, and the results did not include it. Took the time to call them, and only got a message saying to call back and no message would be taken. At that point I gave up on BC, and moved on.

I'm not sure those under hood storage boxes are being produced currently. Forum member Toddz69 designed and coordinated with Protofab to build those. They then supplied to most of the Bronco vendors, but that was a while ago. Last update I could find from Todd was almost a year ago in this thread: http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207175

Maybe Todd will chime in with some new info? Or you could go w/ Mads restaurant container idea.

I have Todd's design and like it a lot. My only issue was that my clutch pedal arm would occasionally hit it, but that hasn't happened for a while. Must have self clearanced the plastic. ;)

Try Bronco Hut - they had a few left three or four months ago.

They are not currently being produced. Something was in the works to get them going again with a slight redesign and then things fell apart.

I'm hoping that our favorite Bronco vendor in CA can get something together again as I know there is some demand for them.
