I just wanted to give wild horses a shout out. I’ve been getting parts for my 66 from them since they use to be in Stockton. This month I won the Caballo seats on their Wild October giveaway 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Awesome seats!!! Just wanted to say thank you. I’m installing the heating element they also sell. I’ll let you guys know how it turns out

Thanks for the shout out! And definitely let us know how you like the seats and the heaters.
Finding stuff for a 66 isn’t always a walk in the park.
Glad the crew is able to help you where they can.

I’d like to piggyback off of your post if you don’t mind!

I had a part break at OCBR recently. This was on Thursday at 3pm. I called the vendor that supplied the item this part was a piece of and told them it didn't matter what it cost I need a replacement overnighted to the hotel I was staying in so I don’t lose the whole event. I left all of my information including credit card number so they could process the order.

I called them again at 5:05pm (their time) and they told me that the shipping department goes home at 5 and they wouldn’t be able to get the part out today. So I’m pretty unhappy at this point.

I called the next morning first thing and ask if the part is going to go out. They told me yes is was going out and that I would have shipping info soon. At around 1:30pm I called back because I hadn’t received shipping info and they told me that they can’t do overnight delivery on a Saturday and that nobody does that. I told them I no longer need it and thanked them for their time.

Now the good part. I called Wildhorses, it is 2:00pm on a Friday at this point. I told them the situation and that I am in dire need of a new track bar. They said no problem. Part was ordered and shipped out that afternoon and showed up at my hotel at 11am Saturday morning. I got email confirmations from the person that helped me and from their automated system and it would’ve save my trip. If we hadn’t already booger welded the original back together 😂.

Wildhorses always had most of my business but now they are going to get all of it.

P.s. I’m being intentionally vague because I want to praise WH not throw another vendor under the bus.

I have always gotten good service with Wild horses. Some years ago I ordered a new suspension and a bunch of parts from them. I am on the east coast so they worked with me to get the best freight rate they could on the parts. Not just put it in 10 different boxes send it UPS and charge the max for freight. That little extra effort goes a long way with keeping your customers.

Totally agree. I’m fortunate enough that they are only a hour away. But I have also had stuff shipped if I can’t get off work before they close. Way fast shipping and they will work with you on the cost when they can
