I did it and it went together fairly easily. There's one alignment hitch they do not refer to in the directions--I had to call WH on it and they said they were ammending the directions to include this in the future. I don't remember it exactly but you use the assembled D20 input shaft to center the adapter before bolting it to the D20 or NP203 (I can't remember which it bolts to first anymore). Mine went together in a day. But I know two others down here in Texas that struggled with manufacturing issues when installing the kit.

I don't think you can't beat the price for a crawler box. But as much as I do like it, I still think I'm going to pull mine and install the C4/Atlas 4SP once it becomes available. So there'll be a bell housing to Xcase output shaft 435/203/20 combo for sale in the coming months.

Is everything in good shape? I've already got a 435/20 setup but I guess I could sell it if yours is in good shape and I just buy it. Definitely keep me in mind when you go to sell it. Could you PM me a rough estimate on what you think you may want for that setup? Thanks.

Theres a couple threads on Pirate for a doubler using a shortie adapter from AA, 3" or so, under $400, some machine work to the tranny and shaft if i may be wrong/correct then going to the 203/205 adapters which are many are available.

I prolly will go this way myself, cheaper to do this then do the s**tload of upgrades to a 20 to match the strength of a 205.

Are the dana 20's that prone to breakage? it sounds like I may be better off using an np205 instead of the stock dana 20. Will my driveshafts bolt up to a 205?

I have a ford np205 in the garage just sitting because it came out of an old 79 bronco parts truck. is it cheaper also to just use a 205?

If you are looking for durability the np205 is definitly the way to go. Especially with the extra torque the doubler adds. It's a bit of a squeeze in an EB But if you run off road alot it's the way to go. Haven't broke one yet.
