Getting ready to install the frame, but does the frame sit on the cowl lip "steel-on-steel"?
In the photo I took, is this correct? rubber sitting between the cowl lip and the windshield frame? or does the rubber get "sandwiched" in the middle of the hinge?
If the rubber gets sandwiched, Does the bulb of the rubber contact the hinge pivot, or flip it so the bulb is against the far edge..
Thanks

One gasket sandwiched in the hinge. The Frame is spot welded to the top of the hinge, the cowl is spot welded to the bottom of the hinge. Seam sealer if you want extra protection but I don't think it's there from the factory. Bulb faces hinge pin. Put put the bulb against the hinge pin, not back like in the pictures below.

Howdy. i literally just bolted mine in this evening. i bolted the hinge to the cowl and then to the windshield frame. stainless hinge btw. i used 3M 2228 tape between the cowl and hinge and hinge and frame. Sticky side to the cowl and then to the hinge top.

probably overkill but i dint want water getting into the cab at all.
