What year did ford synchronize the wipers? My 75 ranger had synchronized wipers. My 69 does not! Did ford really sell broncos with one blade down and one up? Or am I doing something wrong?

They all were synchronized. Make sure the linkage is installed correctly. Could be as easy as removing one wiper arm and clocking it to match the other one.

I think you mean all with electric wipers were synchronized. The early vacuum wipers definitely were not synchronized.

As for the resting blade position... Even the original vacuum wipers on my 67 were both at the top of the windshield when at rest. I agree, sounds like the clocking is off.

Yes, that is what I meant. 69 was the first year for electric wipers, so I am assuming that the factory wiper setup is in place.

My factory '69 electric wipers are synchronized. Several things could be causing yours not to be. Arms clocked wrong on the posts, drop motor bracket installed but linkage not installed correctly. Just a couple of things that come to mind.
