wiring problems please help! ViperWolf?

Guys i'm in need of some help. I put in a Flaming River tilt column now I have turn signal/brake light issues. All turn signals and brake lights work with the
light switch off. When i turn the switch on all lights come on but I have no rear turn signals or brake lights! front turn signals still work. I went back and checked wiring at column connector it is correct as per Flaming River diagram, also changed headlight switch. That did not fix problem. WTH?? anybody know how to fix this. thanks

Check the grounds at the rear lights.

do they ground through the screws ? Also I do have new aftermarket light housings.

would the lights be nice and brite if there was a bad ground?

Yes, ground through screws. It wouldn't be a bad idea to solder a ground wire to the buckets that you could attach to a good location with a screw.

Just read another post about aftermarket turn signal buckets having wires reversed . Could this be my problem? Going to reverse them tomorrow see if that fixes problem

Fixed it! Wires in new tail light buckets are reversed, beware!
