• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

My nephew and I (well, mostly my nephew, I mostly supervise;D) are working on a renovation of a 1966 bronco. He has the body completed and now we are in the need of some parts to continue. Here is the list.

Hood
Front Fenders
Grille

We also will need....
Seats (front and rear)
Power steering
Power brakes

Not looking to ship that stuff (except maybe the grille). Hoping to find it semi-local in the Minnesota area. Thanks
Dan

there is a guy (Jon) in sartell that always has parts for sale. He ant on here much but you will always find his ads on CL. I have bought a few parts from him at the Anoka 4x4 swap meet every spring at the fair grounds.

I would call him and tell him what your after and he might have a line on what your after. I also like to look on CL and find anybody that has a bronco for sale and call them and see what they have as extra parts. Usually they know somebody who has exactly what im after.

What power steering you after? Stock or better than stock? Im gona build up two 4x4x2 boxes this winter and gather all the other parts (pump, brackets, pully and belt, hoses, steering column u-joints and slip shaft, frame supports, etc). power steering wont be cheep. probably around $500 minimum.

Im looking into power brakes for my 4 wheel drums also and i think the hydroboost is the way to go once you have the power steering pump installed. just make sure your pump has dual return. Im not a fan of the huge vacume boost brake crap and bracket...JUNK!

Good luck on your quest and have fun, thats what is about. There is a welth of knowledge on here. I have learned that when you see something ausome in the vendors catalogues (power brakes, disk brakes, powersteering etc), that you can build the same thing yourself for half the price and its usually better.

Thanks for welcome. My Nephew has talked to "Sartell Jon." He doesn't currently have what we are looking for but he is looking for us also. Hopefully something will pop up. My nephew has all the 'cancer' fixed on the body and is ready to remove and blast. Can't wait....
