That's just a rendering drawn up by a fan or magazine. However, I agree...I don't like it, either. Looks too much like a small Chevy Blazer.

I'm excited and hopeful they will do our early broncos justice and build something worthy of the name BUT I'm also very skeptical that it will end up another escape / explorer-esque grocery getter.

The front end looks nice, similar to the early broncos. The back does not IMO, they shaped it like the full size broncos or the bronco II. It's not a good mix. If you are going to go retro you pick a generation and model after that. You don't try to jumble every generation together into one new "retro" vehicle. Poor decisions were made here if that is going to be the new bronco.

Ecoboost will surely make it in as an option. Hope they do a nice mix of classic features. More rugged to compete with Jeep would be better than fancy.

I just heard from a fairly reliable source that they are going to build it off the f150 standard cab chassis and it will likely be offered with 2.7 and 3.5 ecoboost options. I was told they are definitely going after the jeep market and are attempting to deliver an option at a price point under 40k.

I saw it all over the internet today also. Looks like another modern SUV - they all kinda look the same. Toyota Rav4, Hyundai Santa Fe / Tucson, Nissan Rouge, Ford Escape, and more.....

I'm very concerned about it being a 2 door. Nearly all modern pickups are a combination car/truck with 4 doors. To my knowledge the only 2 door modern SUV in current production for the American market is Jeep, and they don't sell well -not popular.

If they make it look like a baby Raptor that should sell real well! The problem with 2door jeep its just a bit to small, that's why I like early Bronco its just the right size "That's what she said".

Ehh! If they are looking to compete with the Jeep then it is gonna need a fully removable top with a rollbar! I doubt that Ford has the nuts to build a retro style badass 20th century bronco. We will see though! For me the design is already done! It was done in 1966 just needs to be brought up to date with today's technology.

Nah! I sure hope not. Im dreaming of something reminiscent of the the latest mustang and how it pays homage to the fastbacks and it just BADASS! ;D
