I'm in the market for some headers since I just got my Cage long arms. I've got the old style Duff headers and the tube will be in the way.

My goals are : fit the long arms, look better than my rusty old headers, reduce engine heat, not too much $$$.

After reading the posts here I was sold on the Jethot coated Hedman headers # 89410, but I found a pic of them some place any they look identical to the headers I'm running now. I don't know if they would clear the long arms.

I'm leaning toward jethot coated headers since it sounds like they reduce the heat the most and the coating lasts longer. I need a heat reduction because since my Bronco has been buggyfied and my firewall is expanded metal on the sides, I get blasted with heat.

I know you guys are going to recommend Chuck's, but I'm looking more in the $300 range like the Jethot Hedman headers.

Also, If I go with shorties will an exhaust shop be able to make a tube from them to the flange where my exhaust starts now off my long tube headers, or am I just asking for leaks?

BTW - I'm running a 351w, c4, d20 and I shouldn't have any sheet metal in the way since I'm tubed.
