Mudstud, the rotisserie that your bronco is on looks familiar to me. Does it belong to
66ALRIDE?

BTW.....do you still go to Enterprise regularly? If so, PM me and lets get lunch. I would like to meet a fellow bronco brother and have some bronco talk.....

J.D.

I don't know if is 66ALRIDE's or if it is beaux312.

I don't go to Enterprise regularly but I do go occasionally. I will PM you my contact information.

Been awhile but I have someone else helping with the project. If I rely on myself to finish it may never get done. Thanks beaux312.

It helps tremendously if you start with a straight and square frame. My frame will have to be checked and fixed before the body goes back on.

Hi Mud, I'm very interested in your build. My own project is at the same point yours was back in April 2013 i.e., I'm getting ready to replace all of the flooring, cross braces, brace supports, inner and outer rocker panels. I am curious about your bracing. Did you find that it was enough bracing (both doors horizontally braced) to keep the body from moving once you pulled the floors and the driver side inner rocker and outer rocker? Did you need to place jack stands or blocks under the body while you had the floor dismantled? It looks like you did one rocker group at a time. Is that correct? My guess is "yes" as that would leave one side braced via the rocker and the door brace. If you have any tips on this whole floor replacement process I would sure like to hear them. Thanks. Wart

Mark, how is the Bronco projects coming along? Do you still have the red 77? I bought a 79 last Spring and getting ready to lift it this Spring. Hope all is well on your end. I got a promotion at work, and I haven't traveled south of Montgomery in about a year.

@warthog6X6
I did one rocker at a time. I did support the body with anything I could ratchet straps from the rafters of the shop floor jacks and jack stands.
One bit of advice make sure your frame is level and square before you start welding.

@riverbum I sold my house back in April and have been without a shop since. That is why it has been a while since I have been on Classics. I am still driving the 77. I have been following your post on Facebook.
