YES! This 3 year journey is about over and I am ready to drive it again... Its not 100% nut and bolt perfect but I know everything that went in it, and all the rust cut out of it... haha

Cold!!

Its chilly here in the South... A little too cold to be out in the shop, even with the kerosene heater going.

I did manage to get the taillights in and the reflectors on. I also have everything ready to put the tailgate on but that will be this coming weekend.

A little more...

Its still cold here but I managed to get a few more things together and mounted.

The tailgate went back on fairly well, it lines up the same as it did when it took it off, haha. Not sure why but the gap on the driver side is wider than the passenger.

I am having the same issue with the lower door weather stripping as everyone else has over the years. The door wont shut!! I am going to work on the fitment this week. I am looking at heating it up or trimming the inner lip off and gluing it in. Any better ideas?

more done...

The weather has warmed up a little and I have been back on the Bronco.

I have gotten both of the gas tanks installed and all of the gas lines. Per the Marti report I went back with the aux. gas tank skid plate. I used the tank kits from bronco graveyard and had no issues. I had to trim the filler and vent lines but no problem there. The pick up for the sending unit on the aux. tank hit when installed so I had to put a slight curve in the tube for it to fit.

I got the doors aligned with the weather stripping but the doors still shut a little hard, hoping that the rubber softens a little over time and the summer.

The air intake tube is in and also the passenger air box.

I cleaned up the tag light and have it back on as-well.

Never seen the air intake tube, that’s a first for me. All I’ve ever seen there is the battery. Keep up the great work!

I think it was a common thing, the air intake tube connects to the original blue air filter assembly. They are even remaking the rectangle connector hose for it now...

One finished door window

I had enough time to get the passenger side window and vent window finished. This included all new window guides, ant-rattle strips, window felt strips, and cleaning the vent window weather stripping. I also put the chrome back on.

I got a few other items installed for the engine. The new brake booster is shiny...

Sadly I gave up on trying to polish the other chrome pieces and dropped them off to a person to strip and polish those. It will save me a huge amount of time!

dynamat

I got the Dynamat Extreme in, I used 36 square feet and covered all of the front and most of the back. I didn't cover the rear wheel wells, cause I am putting in a full tan carpet kit. I did do the doors also but no pictures of them.

I didn't get a picture but I then put Dynaliner added to the firewall. This is also going in the roof on the top before the Headliner is installed.

Heater Box...

I have the Heater Box complete with all new gaskets, new felt, and new heater core. And yes, I assembled the entire thing, forgot the clip and had to take it back apart!%)

I also took a better picture of the dynamat from the back. The Dynaliner is under the dash area only.

Got the radiator in, fan shroud in, and the heater box mounted. I'll get pictures later this weekend.

I have the transmission lines sanded and cleaned and will be doing all the plumbing this weekend.

more and more

Oh its getting closer to time to crank the motor!!! Almost all of the wiring is done and all of the plumbing is in.

I am trying to make everything as clean and neat as I can, I thought that the heater core hose should be fastened down the inner fender.

I managed to get one door panel on and also took a picture of the heater box in-place.
