ignition switch removal

I am installing the centech harness and have to replace the ingintion switch, how in the heck do you get that thing out ????? it has a big spring and a cup with 3 teeth on it, i have no idea.

turn the key back to ACC, then insert a paperclip into the hole on the front. keep turning the key backward and the cylinder will come out the front.

on the back...push the whole unit against the spring (toward the dash), then turn it CCW and it will pop out.

there's a few threads on this, but those are the basics.
