I found this and was wondering if this will work on a 302, 4R70W, I have a stock Dana 20 with a C4. I am going to install a 4R70W and wanted a twin stick. can you tell from this picture?

Thanks

Not sure what that came out of, with a passenger side front driveshaft output. Transfer case won't work on the Bronco. Twin stick won't mount to the Bronco Dana 20 either.

Might be a Jeep or Scout transfer case. They have the drop on that side.

It's not an 18, the rear output is inline with input.

You don't want anything to do with that pile of junk. It will not bolt onto a Bronco. The linkage is a weird mousetrap contraption with extra pivot points and added complexity. Don't even think about trying to copy it. That is a bad design.

So you have a T-shift and you want to twin stick it. What are you looking to gain out of it? Because if you are wanting to do things like a front dig (front axle in gear, rear not in gear) you need to go into the transfer case and make some internal modifications. That is the only way a T-shift will have any different shift options outside of stock.

That is a D-20 from a 70's Jeep CJ that had a stock 3-speed

We have a great twin-stick shifter for it that eliminates the bell-crank linkage, but as previously mentioned NOT for a Bronco.....

JB fab has some good ones for the Bronco, too! ;)

I don't mind my T shifter, but I put one of theirs on my J shift case.

your dana 20 you currently have will work with the 4r70w. You will just need to buy the adapter and the twin stick for it.

I just did the 4r70 swat into my bronco that had a c4. after looking at the price for the twin stick and the adapter, i decided to do an atlas transfer case. if really wasn't too much more. the wait for it sucked because they are built to order. but its worth it now.

When I first did the 4R70W 15 years ago (wow that was a long time ago) I didn't have the money to outright buy an Atlas. But given time it would have been cheaper. Between the adaptor, twin stick, low gear set, and an upgraded output shaft you are at the price of an Atlas.
