I checked on a search, but I was curious if the oil pan on my 72 Bronco with a 302, can be removed without unbolting the motor mounts? Is it possible to remove the screen and pick up and then finagle it? Thanks.

Raise up the frame (bumper, etc) and that will create more clearance between the oil pan and the front differential. Only has to be up that high long enough to get the oil pan out. Normally 2-3" will be sufficient.

I find it easier to jack the vehicle up my the front differential. Then put the passenger side front frame rail (at the bumper) on a jack stand and remove the passenger side wheel/tire. Then lower the jack and the passenger side of the axle will sag almost to the floor. This will give you plenty of room to slide the pan out.
