well I don't have any Ideas for a tow bar but when I had to rescue my bronco this weekend I used a tow dolly from UHAUL, 51 bucks total for 24hours and the straps barely fit over the 33's but it towed ok.

Check E-bay. There are always a lot of them there. The problem is the shipping can be too much.
Do you have a Harbor Freight near you? They go on sale for $59. You can't fab one for that.

You can make a low buck booty-fab towbar in a few minutes.

I know for a fact that this "towbar" has hauled cars for many hundreds of miles.

Roundhouse, if I were a cop and pulled you over with that setup, I'd be tempted to GIVE you a roundhouse. Some stupid shit like that is what gets loose on the highway and kills a family.

I went the HF route, caught it on sale for $49, bolted a piece of 3" angle across the frame, mounted the disconnect brackets to that.

Pulled great with small street tires, next pull was with larger 30" knobby tires and they dug in bad on turns. pulls better with the engine in.

Rentals or hauls would have cost $50 each, so it's paid for.;D ;D
