Very nice! How did you get the right curve on the metal? Wanna make another set???;)

went to a heating and air conditioning place and asked them if the had a roll. i wanted 1/4 inch but he said no way, he thought only an 1/8 would bend and roll in his small rollers so i said do it. i took him an old piece off a parts rig and he came real close. with some trimming with a metal cutting circular saw they turned out pretty good. i will probably have them powder coated the same color as the corner protectors but black will work for now. i'll get another set made for another project. there not perfect and you can see they dont hug the pannel but i havent bolted them on yet, there just sittin up there with some scews stuck in to see if i liked it. the black is kinda growin on me. i might paint the corners black to match.

awesome now how much for a set?

i think i got bout 100 bucks in em. thats for the steel and the labor for the bend. i had them done last fall and i'm just now gettin round to installin them. i'm gona go by there next week and get another set made. it took him a week or so to work it in with all the other stuff goin on so i'll let ya all know when i get them and how much it cost nowa days.

gona get him to bend up some other protectors also. maybe front fenders or in front of the rear tire behind the door %)

what i really want is someone like Dennis Carpenter to punch out a thick front grill

Looks great! I think Bronco-69er had the best name with Quarter -Pounders ;D

I havent managed to test mine yet, seems my fenders have had the most work recently ;D

I wish I could get a set of rear quarter guards, may end up trying to make my own.

Looks great!!!

Did you bend those up yourself or did a shop do it? How much was labor if you had someone do it! They look sweet by the way.

Now that's a great idea!! Looks great Joe - I gotta come up with something to protect my rear corners and fender tops too for the current project. Or considering the rear corners have 1/4" of bondo in them from the PO I may just let that take a few hits first ;D
