I would love a set of these but am concerned that they won't fit my James Duff Inserts.
I honestly don't see why they shouldn't work. I have had a handful of different manufacture's inserts used with my inserts without any major problems. If you do buy them and if you do have some issues contact me and I'll work with you. Don't worry I will not leave you hanging!

Hey Dennis, I could but then ford have my day in court. lol I'll put you on the list for plates.

Thanks Jeff

PS Dennis, how's the 1/2 doing that you bought from me? I have a cool story about it's history so remind me sometime to tell you about it.

That 1/2 top you sent to us was actually for a Bronco that we did the metal and paint work for ford man. I have attached some of the last pics of it in our shop. (I think ford man is dragging out the finishing of the project because he is having too much fun working on it and doesn't want to finish it). Really nice top though, and I would like to hear "the rest of the story"!

The inserts are for a '67 U13 that I am collecting parts for a restoration. I may have to "lean" on you for some resources....like inserts....and ...and...!;D;D (It is a N code also which makes it a little more attractive!)

Sorry I got you guys little mixed up with "ford man" for "fordfan"! lol The 1/2 cab looks awesome and I'm glad that top found a good home and a great truck! When I get a bit of more time I'll share a very cool story behind my 66 U13 which was the truck that the 1/2 cab top came off of.

Also once I get settled up with knocking out the backing plates for the guys, we'll make time to talk some U13 stuff. I would love to hear about your "N" truck! Thanks Jeff

Time to finalize the list, so last call for this batch of plates!

Ok guys, this is the last call for anyone else who wants a set of roadster backing plates. I want to make sure I get onto my metal fabricator' schedule soon as possible. So tomorrow morning I'll be calling him with a final count.

Thanks and if there is any more of you guys please let me know, Jeff

Scratch that last request. I just found a set of original duffs that match my inserts.

Ok guys I have my list finalized and I will keep you posted as I get a closer to the backing plates completion. My metal guy told me about 5 weeks for the blanks and I'll finish them off in 4-5 sets at a time. My goal is to get all the sets out as fast as I can! But with that said I would like find out which guys on my list need them the fastest. So, who on my list is red hot for their backing plates and who can afford to wait an extra week or two for theirs?

A note to the few guys who were undecided on the backing plates. I always make an extra set or two. So, after I fill everyone's order first and you find out you need a set after all. I might have a set or maybe two ready to be finished for you.

Thanks Jeff
