I've only had experience with the caddy caliper's and the CJ rotors, using the BC bracket. It's a bolt on swap, but the parking brake is nothing but headaches. So much so, we switched back to factory drums. Rear brakes contribute so little to stopping power, I'm not a fan of rear disc conversion. Maybe someone will comment on the Explorer rear disc. It has a dedicated parking brake system, I would think has to be better than the caddy calipers.

I think the caddy calipers have a stronger e-brake than the explorer if u can get em adjusted right. I have the caddy calipers with hydroboost and it stops great but havent spent the time to get the e-brake working. There was just a post on here about it say get brand new calipers because many of the rebuilts are hard to get the e-brake adjusted.

My BC set-up has been a headache since day one.... I have put some thought into switching to the Ruffstuff brackets ad going to a better caliper..

X2 on this.
This is exactly what I did and it was cheap as hell. Killer brakes!
I have heard from Chuck himself that the caddy calipers.......(his own words) "are a bitch to get the emergency brake adjusted right, but once you do, there tits".
I haven't tried the caddy calipers yet since the S-10 front calipers are working so well.

I have the explorer kit works great! You do need to pull the axle bearings to add the spacer and press on bearings. E brake works nice on 38 inch rubber

Even with WH axles it's a bitch since the holes aren't exactly lined up with Chucks modified CJ rotors. After taking them on and off a couple times I am pretty good at fighting the wrenches in there....I bet you're pretty good at it too now....since such great minds "must" think alike. Haha:);)
