ignition switch central post power

Can someone confirm whether or not the central post in an original bronco ignition switch/pigtail is switched power on for run and crank or just run only. I am assuming since the black wire green stripe is the accessory wire hooked to that post that it will also be powered with the key in the acc position

Any help appreciated!!!

The center post has power in RUN and ACC. No power in CRANK.

That was what I thought based on other forum posts and some research as well my experience so far trying to wire a switched power source for the sniper EFI. Need a switched run and crank wire.

I think you shoyld be able to pick that up off your solenoid. One of those little studs on top should have power in crank and run.

It's true. The Brown wire on the "I" post will usually have power at both times.
Since it's directly connected to the Red w/green wire from the ignition switch, it gets feedback during RUN, and should have power in START because of both the ignition switch function AND the starter relay sending a signal during START.

However, you may see reduced voltage on the Brown wire during RUN because it's coming from the business end of the resistor wire.

The voltage drop through the RUN resistor depends on the current (Amps) being pulled. More amps=more voltage drop.
