Dana 44 rebuild kit

I am getting ready to swap the gears in my front diff. Figured I would replace all the bearing and seals while I am at it. Does anyone make/sell a kit that has everything all together? I have a 75, and looking to swap to 4.11.

A couple of the vendors had kits. Jbg comes to mind. Make sure it comes with the better bearings and stuff. Some of the install kits have crappy bearings in em.

If you have a 75. my bet would be you are running a 3.50 gear??? If so you will need to order a thick gear set or get a different carrier to run the 4.11's

yes it does have 3.50 gears, is there any issues with the thicker gears

is it worth changing the carrier to locking vs. the open carrier

Yes it is if you go off road at all. Factory trac loc is a good one. JBG has them priced pretty fair. Nothing wrong with the thick gear. If you buy the thick gear look in the for sale section about 5 pages back there is a trac lock for sale at a good price. I need a track loc right now but I already have the gear so I cant use the one that is for sale.

Depends on your driving habits. Yes it will definitely be better off road with some kind of locker or la. If you drive on wet or icy roads often it can have handling issues.
