Electric tank selector

I purchased one of these and would like to see some photos of where/how you installed yours. What/how did you cover the original opening of the manual fuel selector switch. If you also have photos of it connected to the switch itself.

I installed mine to the frame rear of the aux tank. That makes the fuel line to both tanks close to the same length. Also, that location is a great place for an electric pump.

I had one, only lasted a couple of weeks before it quit working. Went back to original setup. Not worth the trouble of installing.

I have used one for decades wo any issues. I have it wired to the original switch on the dash.

Factory '77 F250 solenoid still going strong. They can last. A convenient location with a good body ground.

Fill the hose with whatever. Weld hole shut, shove in push plug, put bolt in hole, etc.

Mine is at least twenty years old.

I mounted mine to the frame close to the original position.It sits up out of the way and both inlets are fairly level with the fuel supply lines. - 5 years or so and no issue.
I left the factory 'lever/valve/ handle and indicator plate in it's original location - couldn't see any reason to remove it.

Ditto. Same loc for mine. Previous owner said it was installed before he owned it, making it at least 17 years old. Still works perfectly.

The old manual valve was left in the original position, unused.

Thank you for everyone's replys. Using ideas I have seen , this is what I came up with. I will post additional pictures of when its installed but for now here is a picture of the bracket we made and a picture with the dimensions for anyone else that would like to make one.

The unit will be ports facing down inline with the fuel lines and the bracket will be mounted to the frame just under the stock location. We drilled (02) holes in the frame to mount the bracket with a 17/64 drill bit and used a tapping tool.

With the design of this bracket all (03) ports will be accessible and easy access to the fuel line to the ports as well as the clamps securing the hose to the ports.

**due to working on multiple projects on the Bronco at one time at this time I am unable to start the Bronco and try the unit out. I will update this post when I am ae to test it out.

I put one in when I replaced the floors and filled in the old manual selector hole. It is wired to the dash switch as others have said.

Mine is mounted to the body, on one of the horizontal rails that runs across the floor.
