What's YOUR definition of best? Last longest? Like OEM? Soft so the doors close? Cheapest cost? Lot of people using generic Amazon door rubber

I bought some of the Amazon seals, based on the earlier thread referenced, and sitting in the garage waiting for a day and warmer weather to put it on.

My experience with the Wild Horses/Dennis Carpenter door seals is, they are too stiff. When I re-assembled my 71 after paint the door gaps were as perfect as they could be. Installed the door seals and could hardly close the doors. My wife doesn't have enough thumb strength to even open the pass. door. Heated the inside for a week with the windows up to see if it would relax, helped a little but, not much. There was also a gap (daylight) at the bottom 1/3 of the door. The hinge side looked perfect then and still does. After a year and a half the bottom gap is getting smaller as the seals continue to compress. The rest of the re-seal kit has been good, it is only the door seals. Won't use those again unless they change the hardness so the compress more easily. I've seen a number of complaints about these since I used them and started paying attention to others experiences.

Same experience here. Installed new seals in 2011, from one of our venders. Ten years later, still hard to open and close the doors. So ready for something better.

Here’s the same stuff in a 15ft piece on eBay. That’s enough to do the top section of both doors. They have other lengths. Search for “Door Rubber Seal Horizontal Bulb” and you will see the other lengths. I got 50ft off Amazon for $75.

Many years ago I bought my last weatherstrip over the counter at a Ford dealer. I still have those seals of the '71. Later I bought a set of the DC et al weatherstrip.
Here is what I found. The main problem is that there is a lack of an air pocket surrounded by thin rubber. Also the originals have tiny holes every few inches to let the air space collapse. Why these simple characteristics cannot be reproduced I have no idea. But there you go.

I have gone through several sets of bronco specific weatherstrip kits and always has issues of it changing my door gaps after install. I will be trying this next.

Support these guys all the time! They just don't have a good aftermarket product in this category......So, going with this option.

I did my part. I have a trashcan full of their seals......

Amen brother! And thanks for sharing your find!
