A buddy of mine is looking for a Bench seat for his Roadster. What is the going price for a nice factory bench seat?

Cores these days are going for $500 to $750

Fully restored ones are $2,500 to $3,000

A solid usable one in mediocre shape I would think $1,000 to $1,500.

Is he only interested in finding something locally? I will ship if he's interested in a bare frame that he can restore and upholster however he wants to.

Had my bench seat shipped via Grayhound yes the bus line. It was the cheapest option back in the day. You just pick it up at the local bus terminal.

I did the same thing it took a while to get it like three or four weeks, but it was the cheapest way

I shipped half a dozen front bench seats myself through Greyhound's Package Express Service. Unfortunately they stopped offering the service a number of years ago.

That one looks well done... but $4,000... ouch!
