I was wondering if any has stretch bronco at center of door and just make door 10 inch longer .

I want to stretch it but don’t want it too look weird. Anyone ever do it this way

The stretch between the door and wheel well in the tub seems to be the "best" from a looks perspective IMO. There are some cars from the 60's and 70's with really long doors that look okay-ish, but I'm not sure that a look an EB can pull off...that said, prove me wrong.

I’m no rush to do it . I would like to find a happy medium with both spots

So one thing I love about the 2dr 6G is every side panel is 48", I think that's the big reason why it looks so "right". Now the EB door is about 39" while the fender and quarter are over 48". Following the same formula, 48-50" of door would probably look just fine.

Kindig did a Bronco build where they streched the doors. Cannot remember how much. https://www.kindigit.com/gallery/72-ford-bronco/
I remember seeing that in the background in the show. Thought it looked really weird. Don't like it.

I was thinking a little stretch on the front fender, between the door and the wheel arch would fit better. But little, 4-6" And probably a little stretch on the center of the front wheel arch as well. But that tapered hood line would be massive work to rebuild. That is why they are dreams and not actions. And the gains in room under the hood would be welcome as well.

I kinda want to do it at the door for better fat boy clearance. I want to try try try to keep the factory look or hide it

I think it would have looked better if they split the stretch with a little in the door and a little more in the rear quarter behind the B-pillar.
I like the overall length, but the B-pillar is too far back. Proportions are skewed, not stretched.

Use same stock door if it is a 10" stretch. add discreet suicide door behind it all the way to the front of rear wheel opening. Choose which side or do both.
My Opinion

I want to do a classic Bronco pickup. Stock Bronco from the front bumper back to the rear edge of the doors, close off the back of the cab with a halfcab top, and a slightly narrowed bed from a mid - 60's F100 (same body lines as a Bronco). Either use an F100 chassis or stretch a Bronco chassis in the middle just enough so the rear tires are centered in the bedsides.

I wonder how odd it would look to widen a Bronco tub to f150 width, put a truck back wall on, and leave the bed alone.

Set the whole thing on a Super Duty chassis with a 6.7 and you have a wicked tow pig.

That’s my idea I don’t want to jump In head first and mess it up
