Trying to find Rear Bumper with tire carrier that hides lower portion behind Stock Chrome Bumper

I thought these came from BC Bronco's but there is nothing listed on their site when I go the link above.

Been away from the boards for a few months so did I miss something?

The rear bumper I'm looking for uses square tubing in the rear frame rails mounted to another piece that spans the width of the bronco and has a swing away tire mount. The portion that spans the width gets wrapped with the old Chrome Bumper so it looks kinda stockish from the rear.

Am I just blind or are these no longer available?

Yeah... they sure are. I thought for a moment I read it wrong... but NOPE.
You can see the letters of ford with icon but you have to move the tag. I am waiting on my duffs to get back from powder coat.

I'll be going with the James Duff version. Plan on mounting the backup camera and probably an antenna on the tire swing. I also figure I'll weld in some studs vs. trying to fight bolts while holding a 200lb tire up in the air :ROFLMAO:

You can just use the stock carrier, and fix some of it's issues.
Nah, I've already welded up the old mounting holes for the stock carrier and never had the entire set up to begin with. Plus, I get to support a Bronco parts business so it's a win win for everyone.

I made a tube that just fits the hole in the wheels. The far end of the tube has a piece of 10 ga. closing it off and I rolled some 1/4" SS tubing into a ring that *just* fits inside of the tube to strengthen the near end. The tube is just enough longer than the studs that I can lift the tire up into place and set it on the tube, then spin the wheel & tire to align with the studs. No juggling a heavy wheel and tire in the air. I cut a slot in the bottom of the tube so that dust couldn't build up in the bottom of the tube, and found by accident that I can put a normal shackle lock thru the slot to lock the spare in place. Been meaning to take a picture of it.

I also modify my carrier in a similar fashion. Additional pictures and description can be found in my build thread. At page 16, post 317. Link to thread is in my signature line.

I've debated drilling a hole near the top for the lock, mostly so that the rare times that it flips over it can't rub the wheel and mar it.

ETA: Those four bolts that hold the tube to the carrier are Security Torx SS button heads that were torqued with Lock-tite 271 in the threads. A thief isn't simply going to remove them to steal the spare. Bolting the tube to the carrier meant that the spare itself did the initial alignment.

IMHO the better way to go is a carrier that doesn't require you to lift the spare at all. We recently had a thread about that, but I know of no commercial product that does this and the solution posted there are custom fabrications.

1/2 way to everywhere
I saw a spare tire carrier somewhere that was made out of a front hub. Then they had a spare lockout mounted in the hub for when they needed a replacement.

In about late November of 1997 I was up in Paradise, CA for a 4WD run that Marlin of Marlin Crawler was driving up to take part in, and he brought me my Marlin Doubler kit. Standing around talking to the guys already there one guy with an FJ40 demonstrated that the locking hub in the center of his spare worked. Unlock it and the spare would spin. Lock it and it couldn't. He commented that it was great fun to unlock it as people we getting heavy into the beer. Invariably someone not terribly sober would grab that tire trying to stay on their feet......
