Pump tube is hitting my steering shaft. Can I bend this tube with heat? Or is there other way to bend it? I hate to cut it and loose the flare. Or can I cut and make a new flare on there? Maybe take to a hydraulic shop? It’s a nos GM pump. Bracket is bc bronco explorer/serp Saginaw adapter.

But you still have an extraneously long nipple.
Very true.

Can anyone tell me what oring goes here? Mine is torn. I guessed with this one. I really don’t want to make a post. I did a search. All I can find is that fitting.

I would think that it's still too close to the shaft.
A soft line will flex and bounce around. Even though it's not a pressure line, it can still move.
I would also think that the tube is bendable. But I sure wouldn't want to be the one to try it! ;)

I would recommend changing set screws to thru bolts, or socket head cap screws.
I get the through-bolting, but why the cap screws? Seems like they're almost as tall as a set-screw and nut.
And there are shorter set-screws that could improve that slightly, but from the pic I think that the hose barb is just too close to the main body of the yoke.

At least that's what it looks like from here.

I bent it way over. I did dimple where those set screws contact. Is it sketchy to have set screws vs through bolts? I bought it as a kit from the vendors 20 years ago

"It is very difficult to consistently harden, quench and heat treat an indented hex set screw. It is impossible to inspect, and there are no NDT methods to ensure conformance to specification." James Roney
