Just installed mine a week or two ago. Install was straight forward, no issues.

Well, isn’t that an interesting spin?
Either your picture is not accurately portraying the color, or they have completely redefined the color “spice” that has been the norm for 40 years and then some.
Spice in the Jeep (and therefore general soft top) world is a brownish color with a very noticeable orange tone.

Yours looks a lot more like what they would have termed a “charcoal” color.
Which always bothered me back in the 80s, when I thought of charcoal as dark black, but Jeep thought of it as a light gray.

That should be a nice color to match a lot of paint schemes.
If I can have a little liberty and comment on the top itself. When I had a Kayline top on mine it had a tall riser in the front which gave the front of the top some dimension. The profile picture of yours looks like it could use a riser maybe 1.5-2" tall to help pull some of the wrinkles out of the back half and also not look like it is deflated in the front. Likely require a total redesign, but just what I'm seeing.

I never noticed that as I have never had a soft top. But looking at it now I can see exactly what you're saying. It really does look deflated.

Hopefully it won't be a problem as it does look pretty good.

Relatively standard for that type of top.
But two things to be aware of, and make sure are correct, would be to make sure the top is not pulling the windshield frame back towards the door frame, and make sure that on a nice warm day in the sun, the main bow is tension fully upward.
Sometimes you can’t get them perfect, but that’s par for the course. The front section is somewhat well known for occasionally collecting rainwater.😉

I wonder what the actual material is. The fit of vinyl is so affected by temperature and not at all good quality. But if its the same material as my 2019 Mustang Convertible then i would be interested.

I just don't want a mickey mouse looking poorly fitting top that has a weak boat top frame design.

agreed that it sounds like they took the current Rampage design (call it Kayline, STC, whatever) and fixed the short comings. I'd love to see a more detailed video of the differences (why don't they do this, or someone hasn't posted one?). I'd gladly have paid $200 more for non-tinted windows, and different tailgate design. Additionally they say theyve addressed the door frame and some of additional mounting holes, but there's no detail on any of this stuff.

Heck I'm already modifying my Rampage brackets and paying an upholstery place a handsome sum to modify a Rampage top, so if I really knew the details, I might even be convinced to just make the change now.

I agree! I'm considering getting one of these to replace my nearly 25-year old Bestop and it would be neat to see an in-depth video on EXACTLY what all the little changes/improvements are. Their little teaser whets the appetite but I'm guessing a full-length video would really help people make the decision to purchase one.

Can anyone tell me if the top can be folded all the way open/back and rest on the bed rails?

If you mean like a standard automobile convertible top? Doubtful.
But if so, that would be a nice update to an old design.
In fact, that would probably be the biggest selling point right there. So if that was the case, it should be advertised that it works that way.

As always, though, even if it was designed to do that, it would still probably depend on what kind of roll bar you have. If any?

To be clear, I do not know for a fact about this new one.
If like all the standard design Bronco soft tops, though, they are most definitely not a “convertible“ top that simply folds down. You have to disconnect things, fold the bars/hoops down and wrap the material around the bars to stow it on the vehicle.
Other than that detail, they do in fact, fold down on the bed rail and tailgate.
Just not like a standard convertible.

If nobody watching this thread knows for sure, that would be worth the phone call right there.
