Full width 76 f100?

I have a full width 1976 f100 under my bronco. I moved the c-wedges in 3inches on either side to match the coil cup width. I would like to use the mounting hole that is casted into the c-wedge on the passager side for my trac bar. I tried to do a search on the same setup but, came up with nothing. Found lots of full width setup with the coil cups on the frame moved or not moved but none on the diff. Was just wondering what you all have done for a trac bar with the same setup and if any pics would be great? If anyone has some pics using the mounting hole on the cast c-wedge that much appreciated.

Not sure what hole you mean lagbolt, but you most definitely do NOT want to mount your trackbar to the radius arm itself. If this hole is in the old C-wedge welded on to the axle (sounds like you already moved it though), that would be strong enough.
If you're talking about one of the top threaded holes, what are you using for your coil spring mounts?

Did you mount new wedges inboard, but kept the old ones intact? If so, you're probably ok to go.
The reason you don't want the track bar mount to the arm's cap is that it will literally push the arm and bushings off of the wedges.

Got pics?

hey MDX the link doesn't work asked me to register and reg was closed by ADMIN. Dirtdonk ill register to become a contributor when I get home from work to post some pics. DDonk its the welded on wedges from the 76-77 f100 or f150 dana. The mounting hole is casted into the front wedge. I wasn't going to us the radius arm bolts. Its the stock location for that year. Its just that I moved the wedges in. O and I did cut off the old wedges. Thanks. Any in put would be great.

76 track bar mount is not on the radius arm cap. Its part of the wedge as he said. Basically you should just need a adjustable trac bar. But I would make sure the axle is centered and take some measurements might even check lenght against the stock trac bar. Then see what the venders offer. I know some have cut to fit adjustable bars. But I would think the location would be pretty close to the stock bronco location.
Might also just go with a trac bar riser and a adjustable trac bar. set it where you want it.

Nice looking getup you got there!
And thanks for becoming a contributor so fast too. Not always easy to justify until you decide how much you're going to use or benefit from the site. Tanks for the support, as Bartles & James use to say!

On NorCalBroncos, they have it shut down due to almost instant attacks by spammer autobots signing up and advertising in threads. Until they fix the security, they only open it up once in awhile when they know they've got a few that are ready to sign up.
I'm surprised that you couldn't even access some stuff though. Thought it was just limiting sign ups.

That IS the lower trackbar mount, so it should be perfect as long as you get the right length bar. You'll need a properly sized bolt, but check out the hole to see if it has been egged out at all. That was a common issue the full-size trucks had from when the bolt would come loose and wobble around.
Plenty of fixes of course, from welding and re-sizing the hole, to fitting a bushing, to welding a bolt/stud in, or the nice fix-it kit offered by Ingalls Alignment Products.
That kit has a long stud with tapered shims that will literally wedge the stud in tightly, once you've tapered the hole with a reamer.

The original trackbar for the truck may have been the type with the little hook/curve in the bottom. But that should not be a problem when you use a straight one like us vendors sell.
We offer both an EB-sized and Full-Size-sized track bars, and would be happy to measure each one for you if that would help. I'll go check our site though. I think we put that info on the page finally. If not, I can get it for you Monday.

Here's the pic that FFMDX was linking to.

EB UPDATE steering5.JPG

Hope some of that helped. ;D

Unfortunately I cannot. Center to center im at 31 1/4 inches. I think im just goin to make one. I think Ruff Stuff has a heim joint setup I can put together. I wish I could find one that had the rubber inserts bushings to keep the vibrations down inside the cab. But I cant find one that would work for my length. So its either adding a track bar rise that way I can order an adjustable track bar from a vender or make a custom track bar to fit.
