Local Car Show tonight

I finally got a chance to take my 73 Baja to the Tuesday night car show. It was a beautiful day & the cars extended to the overflow lot across the driveway. Lots of regulars & a few I've never seen before. Loved the Studebaker Wrecker & the 71 Cougar 351w 4 speed.

Got a chance to stop by & check out some cars at the Culvers Tuesday show. Lots of car shows around here with Dream Cruise a couple weeks away. Rockin Rods in Rochester Saturday & Back to the Bricks shows every day this week in a different city around Flint https://backtothebricks.org/tune-up-parties-2023/

It's Local car show time again - last week was rained out & it was a little cool tonight so not a ton of cars but the ones that showed up were very nice! My Baja got a lot of love & respect which made my day. The Packard 12(don't know what year) was Beautiful & Silent as it pulled in.

The Fastback Mustang was originally an A code 289 4 speed but now it has a real K code with a Paxton blower & a 5 speed

And a couple more with my Bronco just to prove it was there. Cars & Caffeine at "The Henry Ford" in Dearborn this weekend planning to go with my younger son - I'll post pics if we go.

2 Shows for the price of one today & they were both FREE! 1st was a Cars & Caffeine in the parking lot of "The Henry Ford". For those that don't know The Henry Ford is a Museum that's next to and part of Greenfield Village right near Fords HQ(the glass house). The Henry Ford is worth the visit if you are in the area & have several hours or even a day to check it out.

I didn't count the cars but it was a fun show with people coming and going. The Brown EB is a Maxslider build & is very clean. The yellow Torino is a one family car with under 30K miles.

After the Cars & Caffeine a friend that met us there had extra passes for The Henry Ford so we spent a couple hours checking it out. One vehicle that caught my eye is The Warrior designed by Mckinley Thompson the man that also designed the 1966 Bronco!
The Bugatti, Cord, Tucker, Lincoln, Chrysler 300, original Mustang, Ford GTs & many other cars, Trains, Planes & tractors were a blast to see in person.

It's been a while since I got a chance to catch a local Tuesday car show at Culvers because of weather or work. Today I went to a Thursday show at Canterbury Village Lake Orion MI figured I'd see a lot of the same cars but I was surprised & there were only a couple. Not a lot of cars but the one's there were pretty nice!

Stumbled on another car show about 5 miles from home on Wednesday nights. Lots of cars out driving on a beautiful Michigan summer night & Dream Cruise is only 10 days away.

57 Chevy is a full on race car with turbos & Nitrous! Rambler wagon was sweet with a twin turbo LS. Guy with the Jimmy was cool we talked cars & trucks for a while.
