Local Car Show tonight

Now for some HORSEPOWER! Hemi GTX with a 5 speed & big meats on it was very nice! there were probably a dozen or more newer Corvettes but the 2 that I liked were the 69? with a 400hp 3X2 4 speed & the 67 with the 435hp 3X2 4 speed. 2 of my favorite years for Vettes. And the 73 Porsche because they are wicked fast on a winding road.

Culvers Car show got a visit from the Road Kill Crew tonight. They're in town for RoadKill nights racing in Pontiac last weekend and Dream Cruise this coming weekend. They were driving a 67 Cornet 440 & traded for a 4 door Maverick with a straight 6 in it.

As promised we have pics - Red 67 Coronet that won't do a burn out & may have a mold issue for a 4 door Maverick that also won't do a burn out but the guy trading claimed that was only due to the low trans fluid situation.

Plenty of cars out warming up for Dream Cruise.

I wasn't going to take a bunch of pics but once I see the cars I can't help myself. A very nice 68 showed up & the owner said he found it in Northern Michigan 15 years ago. Original 30K miles garage kept & no rust - I only took the 3 pics(should have taken more) Pretty cool International Truck with what looks to me like an EB PTO winch & bumper.

A few more for this week - The matching white 56 Ford Sunliners were cool & the pink & blue ones were just as nice - I'm sure they'll be at Woodward on Saturday

Well between Rain & work it's been a while since I got to a car show. Really nice weather today & they claimed over 400 cars - the way they were coming & going I'm sure there was at least that many. Vicky was there again & I couldn't resist a few pics - it's just so damn cool!

Lots of nice Pontiacs - the Royal Bobcat was a Royal Oak Mi dealership performance package - 3 convertible Firebirds - 2 400s & 1 326 - all very nice!

I finally got a chance to take my 73 Baja to the Tuesday night car show. It was a beautiful day & the cars extended to the overflow lot across the driveway. Lots of regulars & a few I've never seen before. Loved the Studebaker Wrecker & the 71 Cougar 351w 4 speed.
