Local Car Show tonight

I told myself I'd just take a couple pics & the cars looked to nice not to keep snapping away. The grey 69 Mustang was actually a 2012 that a company in Kentucky builds. Owner said you give them a donor car & $50k & they give you a 69 looking car back.

another Beautiful afternoon for a car show - There was another EB there that I hadn't seen before. It looked good from 20 feet but needed some help if you looked closer. Guy was nice enough & he believed it to be 14,000 original miles & he may be right but it was a plow truck so they were HARD miles. While talking to him a couple were checking out my Bronco & after talking to them we found out they knew my 66 before I bought it & I have seen their 66 before they got it. Funny thing is both Broncos were on the same street a half mile apart. Small world sometimes

Saw a coworker that retired almost 10 years ago - That's his 66 Fastback Shelby/Hertz clone - It's got a healthy 302/5 speed - He promised to bring his Factory 5 Cobra next week if the weather cooperates.

Lots of "regulars" but there's always at least one or two "new" cars that I didn't expect to see.

I'm still trying to find a good weekend to go cross state & enjoy the West Coast

Got rained out last week but the weather made up for it today - Perfect for a car show. I got there early enough to get a spot in the main lot next to a very nice Silver Anniversary Bronco. After I took a few pics & started walking I heard a loud BANG turned around & saw the white car in the air going over the curb. Someone got to excited & turned in front of them & both cars got damaged pretty good. Nobody hurt & no classics involved - just a reminder to always pay attention!

I liked the MG that had a Rover V8 in it - clean install & sounded good when he left. The Toyota FJ was brought by a dealer & they were asking $65,000 It looked good on quick inspection. The Montego GT was nice & sounded BAD ASS when he fired it up - don't see those often - owner said he parted more than 10 cars to build this one.

The first VW Bug(73) is my neighbors car & the 2nd(71) is another that happened to be at the show also. The trike with a 350 chevy looked a little rough but it did have a chrome 9".

I think the cleanest looking motor of the day was the LSX twin turbo in the Trans Am. It looked fast even not running! The Barracuda with the Hemi was a close 2nd. Leaving the show I pulled out next to a new Cadillac with a manufactures plate - both guys in that were checking out the cars as they drove by.

Well between work & rain & Vacation I missed a few weeks. It was supposed to rain/storm today but they got it wrong & it was nice if not a little hot. As I parked a guy came up & started talking/asking questions then mentioned he had the new one - So I got a chance to check out a 2021. Turns out he knows my neighbor & the Bronco was his sons who works for Ford. He has to give it back tomorrow & he said he really fell in love just driving it for a few days. Another EB showed up as I was about to leave - turns out it was orange last year(pic included from last year) & he just got it out after painting it for the first time today. Barracuda S with a 340 & nice patina caught my eye.

1 second gen Bronco & a cool F250 Supercab were there along with a 65 GT Convertible Mustang - My first car was a 66 GT Convertible Mustang(Blue)
