anti sieze or regular grease, silicone will get everywhere for decades to come.

Not sure why I bought an adjustable TB I've got it all the way in and fits just like the other one, there is no way I'd be able to get to the closet hole to the axle.

Is that with the axle centered on the frame?
I had to shorten my adjustable track bar, cut with saw & thread deeper, if needed.

by adjusting it OUT it'll move the axle toward the passenger side. are you saying its adjusted IN or OUT?

Yes that's with it centered. I don't have the knowledge or tools to do that to a track bar.

I centered the body over the axle I believe anyway,with the threads all the way in that's the only hole it would get close to. Now I can't get the freaking bolt in. This is why I don't work on stuff, don't have the patience to do stuff.

Don’t panic! As Ford Prefect used to say…
Now that it’s up in the pocket, with the tires on the ground, turn the steering wheel.
Turning the steering wheel will literally shift the body over the axle so you can get the bolt in.

It doesn’t matter which hole you use, because your adjustable track bar is apparently long enough to center the axle using the outer hole.
Where the stock track bar was not. You would’ve had to move it over to the other hole get a better center on the axle.
The adjustable one is probably longer at its minimum setting, so you don’t need to do that. So just use the hole that it will get into, and move things to get the bolt in.

Obviously, this process is easier with two people, but it can be done by yourself if you can reach up behind the frame, or under the wheel well, and grab your steering shaft as it goes into the steering box and turn it by hand.
With power steering, however, you may need a second person to do this.

In other words, you’re too close to need to modify the track bar. It’s almost in the hole!

Well I finally had time to install the TB. I could never get the holes to line up to put the bolt through on the TB bracket. So I ended up pulling it of the axle bolt, getting the top bolt installed then man handling it back onto the axle bolt. Don't think it made a difference how it went on, just as long as it did. cotter pin broke for the castle nut so I have to pickup another one today. Then I will get it aligned, hasn't rained in weeks here but now they are calling for storms all week. Top isn't on Bronco so I guess I'll have to play it by ear.

Finally had a chance yesterday to take my Bronco for a spin after getting the TB installed. It drove a lot better but pulls to the right, so I've still got to get it aligned and I might be on the hunt for a new steering box. There is a bunch of play there, would a new one or rebuilt one cure the constant steering adjustment while driving or something else?

Get it aligned and post the printout here. Any conjecture without it is guessing. Even with a sloppy box it should drive well. if it has over 1" of free play, the steering box needs to be replaced.

I am going to get it aligned this week or next. The guy who I trust to do it is moving garages so I've got to wait on him. Never could get the pitman arm off to swap it out, so the stock one is still on there. I need to take a picture of the update underneath to get you all opinion to make sure it looks proper.

Definitely! Don't even bother your guy with an alignment until you get it all sorted physically.
If it's already there, then great. But if not, hopefully we can see it and save you some trouble.
It all works as a system. Change one thing without changing the other pertinent bits, and it's no longer working together as it should.
