What do you guys do with your radiators? I have had a RD radiator for over ten years and no leaks and nearly that long in another vintage vehicle with no problems. You guys are scaring me.
my RD radiator lasted 13 months. 1 month after warranty expired. Talked to the man himself and he said "No"

Nope, never had an issue with electrolysis. Never use anything other than 50/50 premix coolant. I used to have crazy hard water that would corrode anything, so I just quit adding water to concentrate, never had an issue.

Are you guys using sacrificial anodes and grounding the radiator to the frame to prevent electrolysis?
I have an anode just in case but yeah, def don't use tap water unless you're stuck at the side of the road and that's all you can get.

+1 on premixed.

I just buy some distilled water for initial mixing and then add later after I replace another radiator! lol

I use it for all my farm equip & everything else with a radiator

I also use an anode. Being a salt water boat guy it's what I do...

I have used a 50/50 mix high quality antifreeze, sacrificial anode, and ground strap on my aluminum radiators. After 15 years I am still good on my RD aluminum radiator. I will note that I had to replace the sacrificial anode as it did indeed sacrifice itself after 12 years.

Mars, So what are you using for the anode and where do you install it?
